The Australian Parliament has passed a law under which the authorities of the social media companies like Facebook, Twitter, Google+, etc can be jailed for up to three years if the violent content is not immediately removed from their platform. 

There is also a provision of 10% penalty for annual global turnover on social media companies in the law. This is being the first such law in the world.
