Rishabh Pant became the first Asian wicket-keeper to score a Test century in Australia

On a Friday against Australia, Rishabh Pant became the first Asian wicket-keeper to score Test centuries on Australian soil. Former Sri Lankan captain Kumar Sangakkara had made a Test century in Australia in 2007 but he was not a wicketkeeper in that match. Earlier, the highest score of an Indian wicketkeeper in Australia was Farooq Engineer (89 runs).
