Around 850 years old ‘Notre Dame Cathedral‘ in France’s capital Paris, a massive fire broke out, due to which its upper part was destroyed. Following this accident, President Emmanuel Macron canceled his proposed speech. Actually, this cathedral is one of the popular tourist spots in Paris, where 1.3 million tourists visit every year.
The Cathedral of Notre Dame is on Fire. Officials say the inferno Cannot be Stopped. Officials believe the fire could be linked to $6.5 million renovation work. That peak of the 850-Year-old historical building was undergoing. A Large operation has been launched to control the fire, but officials are not certain the building can be saved.
The Spire and part of the roof have already collapsed and it may not be possible to stop the blaze. A Spokesperson has said the entire wooden frame of the Cathedral would likely come down and that the vault of the edifice could be threatened too.
According to Nore Dame Spokesman Andre Finot Everything is burning, nothing will remain from the frame.
The 12th Century Cathedral is home to incalculable works of art and is one of the World’s most famous tourist attraction.
The Fire was reported at 5:50 pm (GMT) and the building was evacuated shortly after. There have been no casualties and no reports of deaths. No comments have been made regarding injuries.
